Wondering what site y'all are using for finding and purchasing stock photography. Right now we're using Shutterstock, but I feel that the most of what I find there is pretty "stock-photo-y" versus what I see on Getty/Corbis. Is that a general sentiment among most designers?

I built FindA.Photo to index images from a lot of free/CC0 sites (like Unsplash) and make them searchable by keyword and color. There are currently around 6,000 images. I hope it's useful :)

You should definitely check out stock.tookapic.com. It now has more than 11,000 photos. The image collection is powered by people running their 365 projects (one photo a day for a year) on tookapic.com. This means we update the stock part with 50-80 photos every day.
Sure, there are some really amateur photos, that you wouldn't use even as a background for a Comic Sans tagline. But there are now 2.5k curated images available. there. And by curated, I really mean it. I'm the one who handpicks them every day.
Majority of the pics are free and licensed under CC0. There are some premium ones, but they cost just $3.75 to $5.00.
I am a designer myself, and I haven't used any other stock site in a very, very long time.
We recently used a couple shots from ISO Republic, and about a month ago published a list of ~30 free stock photo sites if you're looking for volume. There are also some good niche sites for more specific image types: Foodies Feed for food pics (duh), Startup Stock Photos for those classic hoodie shots, and of course Superfamous for beautiful aerial landscapes.

I really enjoy using Unsplash. It's not really your regular stock photography website, but you can sometimes find something you need. Best part, Free!
Also curious what other people are using. We'd made use of iStock, but recently had an AWFUL customer service experience with them. Highly recommend against using them and on the lookout for something better!

I hate to self promote, but we built 500px Prime to be a place for authentic, non-stock-photo-y photos. Also we pay out 70% to the photographers, which is really important to us. Give it a try!
Big fan of your site. Loved it before it had stock too, but being able to purchase such great photos for web is awesome!
It's always Pexels for me.
Shutterstock's quality has really improved recently. Also check out their premier site Offset for some nicer stuff.
Stocksy is also good for the "non-stocky" look.
Those free sites have some nice hipster images but never have what you need for paying clients.
