Regarding that article..I think people who say stuff like this are possibly stuck in the startup / data first / let's use that safe UX pattern mindset. Guys, stop obsessing over designing drop shadows for buttons and start designing full on experiences that delight and surprise. These guys are pushing the web and killing it. Bravo!

The recurring mentality that nothing exists outside of dull as dishwater startup app design is increasingly tiresome.

It behaved exactly as it should have. Then I had sad face.

As soon as I opened the website I 'minimized' the windows. Then it was gone! So I had to reload.
