    Yeah, but why? There's only so many ways of drawing the letter 'G', and using the first character of your company name as a mark/favicon is extremely common. I don't know what Josiah is trying to show.

      Especially geometric 'G's. Regardless, the terminal on Google's is way more open, the crossbar is shorter, it's less weight-y, and the color/containing shape is a huge differentiator.

I'm so amazed that there's this much bad designers in this community. Bad. Baaaaad.
I just can't wait this stupid "flat" era to end. Every single newbie designer thinks everything should fit into squares (which they actually think they are grids) just because of their poorly developed OCD. Meh.
