I always run into this issue when building a website. There seem to be crazy extremes when it comes to sliders. It's either fully themed, with ridiculous features (every eye popping transition effect on earth) with every possible feature you can imagine OR it's so lightweight you even have to do the actual sliding of images yourself, unless you want to stick with just fading in and out.

So here's what I'm looking for:

• A really lightweight slider that allows me to do my own UI easily
• Has good touch support (image actually follows the finger input, not just having the transition called on swipe event)
• Actually slides, not just fades images in and out
• Is responsive
