I must say, the new GPU Performance mode is really snappy. It's turned a slow and frustrating experience into a blissfully smooth design experience.

Sadly, the way Illustrator renders paths, text, and patterns is messed up pretty badly in this mode, unless you toggle between GPU and CPU Preview modes under the View menu (or ⌘+E by default).

I'm conflicted between wanting to see my designs/art as they would export at 100%, and finally using Illustrator without dragging myself through a snaggy barbed wire fence with almost every click and pan.

What's with this funky drop-shadow and greeking on my objects? Is anyone else seeing this? Can this be fixed?
