Online User Experience Institute website. I'm speechless... (ouxinstitute.com)

big fan of how the About Us page is a bunch of pictures of the same woman on different vacations.
Came here to post that. This cannot be real.
It looks like it's the 'CEO'.
Small correction.
This is a peek behind of the veil of this UX thing we all worship.
What's ironic, is that these people were calling themselves UX'ers before it became a buzzword that everybody and their grandmother started dropping on their Linkedin. Even though the site is from '09, those cats have been in the game from the beginning. Real OG UX'ers if you will.
The rest of us are just late-to-the-party bandwagon jumpers.
Eli Schiff would love this shit.
So expressive
User eXperience...
The videos! So good.
I just checked out some of their css.
font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
They actually prefer Arial over Helvetica.
Also, check out how amazing the UX was in 2011: https://web.archive.org/web/20110202120939/http://ouxinstitute.com/
That is actually cool!
That's awesome.
The About page is hilarious. Various photos of Deborah J. Mayhew PhD (tm) taken on the same overcast day by the water.
This site reminds me so heavily of Garth Merenghi's Darkplace.
Get How Join What Who Why
At least they used proper capitalization in eXperience.
Any site that uses Flash is clearly just trolling.
always so much hate for flash, pretty sure they only use it as a video player, hell webm didnt even come out till '09
If you haven't yet, make sure you take the tour:

When she said: "O-U-X-I, pronounced ooxie" I nearly spat my coffee.
thought this was satirical
Made in 2009. I don't remember how bad things were in 2009.
They weren't that bad I assure you... Although, the term UX wasn't thrown around so loosely back then.
In 2009 we would have had the exact same reaction we're having now.
This would have been cutting edge in 1996.
Honestly, I've seen worse.
On a user experience education website?
The UX equivalent of The Room?
A founder of the institute, Deborah, has a course on UX design in Udemy. https://www.udemy.com/designing-for-productivity-in-the-user-experience/?dtcode=KuuLhed2WizG So... if anyone is interested...
My eyes! D:
Love this comment at the top of the CSS file:
/* DEBORAH'S Alt Home Page CSS - Merit will NOT Edit! */
Clearly been a UX fight or two in the past.
...
Is this a joke? It must be.
I'm just enjoying these comments...
Someone is trolling so hard
