Problem with Sketch line-height
over 8 years ago from Martin Halik, Designer at Greenwood Ents
Sometime it's from the baseline up, otherwise from ascender height down. Does anybody know how can I change it or unite it? https://upx.cz/2VV

Can you please share the document (or that particular element at least) so we can take a look?
Thanks in advance! : )
I've deleted it, but I get this problem quite often. Here is different file with same problem:

Thanks! This is a known bug and we're working to get it fixed ASAP. It happens when you copy & paste the style from a text layer to another: the line height will be copied but the layer itself won't be updated properly.
While we fix it, here's a plugin that will correct the line height in your selected layers: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/7725/Fix%20Text%20Height.sketchplugin
This is how customer support should be, excellent work guys :)
Thanks.
Another annoying problem related to the line height is how the selection is displayed while hovering a text:
This happens when selecting text too, and is even more confusing. :/
It would be awesome if there was no line-height on single lines of text to align with items above and below (converting to outlines does this but you can't change the text after) but maybe that's asking too much though :)
This.
Signed in just to say: yes! This please.
This happens to me a lot. Sometimes I've found that in a document, certain fonts will cause this to happen but others won't — and when I bring those fonts into Photoshop to test what's happening, the line height will work correctly. Super frustrating.
Is paragraph set to 0
? Sometimes, that can cause issues, at least from what I've experienced.
Yeah it shares the same text style.
I get the same thing and it has left me quite confused on occasion... Sorry that I am not much help, but I am also wanting to make sure it doesn't happen again.
