Doing a little research for a city website project and surprise surprise, finding examples of well-designed, well-built, and maybe the hardest — well-structured, city websites are proving to be difficult to find.
Anyone know of some really nice city websites to look at for inspiration?

Louisvilleky.gov is a bit different than other city sites, more geared to local citizens. We're slowly trying to collate all of the various services that Louisville has, and bring them into this century. This site is the very first baby step into that mindset.
Very nice! Good job Matthew! One of the specific issues that we're trying to solve, and looking for inspiration for, is business directory listings — a clean and easy way to sort through all of the hundreds of businesses listed, for both locals and visitors. Looks like you've got a great start going though, thanks for sharing!

I really dig this one (even though it's more of a "event / tourist" type thing):

No problem. It really is a standard out compared to most local government sites in the UK. It takes a lot of it's cues from .GOV - which is very UX heavy.
