$312 for the one I want, ouch.
Just been informed via Twitter that Hover is selling .design domains for $23 (that's ~£15 for my UK friends).
icon.design registered :-)
I almost grabbed that one.
I had a feeling it would go as one of the first ones.
A Solid investment for icon finder IMO.
The problem with all of these new TLD extensions is the fact they are too expensive. Just tried a few different domains for .design and seems they are taken. So seems the squatters have already padded out their portfolios.
We bought www.news.design — anyone have post-DN plans?
Caved and bought does.design just so I could have dale.does.design >.<
I couldn't resist.
I preordered experience.design.... agggges ago. Just did a checked who.is... 'Wild West Domains' beat me too it! :'(
Just snapped up webpage.design for my Blocs product. I feel like I just slapped a big pile of money on red!........
I bought curated.design for 25 bucks, dunno why, just had to.
Nice grab!
Well there go all my ideas
Has anyone bought one?
classy.
I could never pass on such a deal.
Can't justify spending that much money on a vanity domain. Feels like a giant rip-off, at least to me.
Bought hugh.design
But I do wonder how many people will add .com at the end still.
icon.design of course :-)
Webpage.design
haml3t.design
great.design is free and costs $800 per year – just like all domain names on a premium list.
new.design is for 2500 dollars. grab it while it's available -and if you can :p
May I join the party with:
Wanted to get ion.design however trademark claim showed up. It is still available. So is:
All on name.com $19.99 first year, $39.99 subsequent.
I feel like godaddy bought them all. code.design is $900 USD a year. Really?
Just nabbed my name for $30. I also thought of grabbing mobile.design ($899~)
Now, I'm anticipating all of the funny/awkward domain names like bad.design, good.design, cool.design, whatis.design, etc.
shopify.design just registered :)
I've just registered http://vinicius.design
\o/
If anyone is interested I have registered tutorials.design.
.
not at all.. may develop it if someone is interested in helping as a side project
Nice! I was actually looking for similar domain names, (learn.design, teach.design etc). I'd be interested in collaborating on it as a side project.
Thought I was onto something when I saw that "re.design" is available!! Then I saw that godaddy has it marked as premium and want $6,500... wtf.
Oh well, my other idea is only $29.99. I'm gonna get that.. er.. wait. Someone registered it out from under me while I was checking out. I had "humancentered.design" and I stalled for a second to go check on whether I wanted to bundle "usercentered.design" as well. I guess the party is over before it started. ".design" is gone.
Same here. Was going to get bold.design, but then saw that it is priced at 3,000€, because it's marked as premium. Ridiculous!
I ended up getting learnto.design, blitz.design, and sprint.design as an impulse buy. $90. Hope I didn't toss money away. There were a lot of others that were solid grabs in the $139 - $6,500 range but I couldn't convince myself to drop more than $29 on anything.
I plan to develop them but I also have so much going on. I got a copyright notice on sprint.design but I would do a site about design sprints if I use it, so that wouldn't be an infringement AFAIK.
A bit pricey!
$125.00 from name.com or £129.20 from gandi.net. Is there anywhere cheaper?
Namecheap for $40/year.
I registered data-driven.design and human-interface.design. Not sure yet what I will do with them, but I'll keep them for a while, except someone wants to buy them.
