This reminds me of confide app (getconfide.com), except this is a better implementation - one swipe.

Smart and simple way to not only make messages feel more secure, but it's exciting to receive something and sort of "decode" it.

    This is really cool.

Somewhat related are speed reading apps https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1xxyDVBGHL8 (no chance to screenshot here either). Although the playback control of the linked dribbble shot is great.

Looks amazing but I'm not quite sure about the interaction. Is it a swipe / touch? Seems a little bit unintuitive for a touch enabled interaction. It may work well with some kind of hovering like the one introduced by Samsung in the Galaxy S4.

Cheers Juan! The little touch cursor definitely makes the interaction a bit ambiguous, will fix that up next time. It was intended to be a Snapchat-style press and hold to view, then slide your finger around the screen to reveal.

So, basically a hold and drag. Finger shouldn't leave the screen!
