"Battery life: up to 40 days on a single full charge"
Yeah, sure. I have the Performance MX and it lasts less than a week. On their website it says a month.
I have the Performance MX as well. I'm hoping they've solved their battery issue. Main thing I like is the bluetooth connectivity. I hate using the USB antenna.
That's interesting—I've been using the M510 everyday for almost three years and never have touched the batteries.
That compared to my Apple mouse, which requires new batteries every other week.
The Revolution MX used to last about that long. My Performance lasts about 80 hours of use, about half as much. Here's to hoping its similar to the Rev MX in more ways than the Performance MX
Why is a battery life of one week unacceptable? You had to charge the old MX revolution nightly.
Until they fix their garbage driver software, I'd think twice about buying a logitech mouse for use with Yosemite.
On my second MX mouse. Love them. Battery live was waaaaay better on the first one though. Hopefully this iteration is better.
Not sure about that gold colour... I'd rather have it jet black.
Just in time, as my 4 year old Magic Mouse is almost dead. Hope this comes to India soon. What is great about this for me is the bluetooth connectivity. I hate wasting the limited USB ports in my RMBP.
I love the Performance MX, I just hate having to charge it once a week (I know, 1st world problems). Hopefully the MX Master really does improve battery life.
I use the Anywhere MX. I love its compact size (I have small hands) and the battery usually lasts a month or so.
There's a terrible flaw to it though. The small things that "clicks" inside the mouse get used and within 6-12 months of heavy usage, it becomes unusable (double clicks when you single click, doesn't click, click doesn't hold while dragging). Luckily there's a warranty, as soon as the issues start appearing I file a RMA and I get a new mouse within 2 weeks. Then the cycle repeats...
Intrigued by this mouse. Even if it's far bigger than what I'm used to.
Have been using MX Revolution for 10 yrs now. Got 3 of them, just in case. MX Performance was a mess imo. Not enough buttons, and scroll wheel never felt right. Can't wait to try this one out.
