It's the one conference I've found where the speakers are as important as the hallway conversations you find yourself in.

A few reasons to love it:

• Andy² have gone to great lengths to keep the attendee list small, diverse and interesting.
• It's in Portland.
• It's a single-track event, so you don't need to decide between listening to Awesome Speaker 1 or Awesome Speaker 3.
• The extracurricular activities are wonderful, bringing you to great places like Panic and Wieden+Kennedy.

(Yes… I'm a bit of a conference whore. But I live somewhere rural so I don't get a lot of face-time with peers — so for me it's an important part of sharpening the saw. I try and plan client work around events so it's not just a "fun" trip. Also, at this point in my career, it's something that helps find me new clients).
