Introducing Pixate Actions

over 8 years ago from , Senior Designer at Google

Hey DN, today we're releasing the beta of a powerful new feature for Pixate: Actions. Think of Actions as a way of automating and extending Pixate—kind of like plugins for Sketch. You can read more on our blog:

We're really excited to see what the community comes up with, and as always we'd love to hear your feedback.

    Good God, you guys are awesome. Pixate has become THE tool for me to do interactive prototypes. And Actions, 'd be an awesome add!

    I want to man-kiss all your foreheads. (I'm serious)

    Really hope one of the first things someone makes is "Copy an action". I really really need this.

      That's definitely one of the use cases we have in mind when we started working on actions. ;) We're going to add support for selecting animations very soon, which will make this kind of action (plus reversing a given behavior, etc.) possible.

    One of the great things about Framer is the community sharing.

    This gives you a much stronger leg to stand on.

    That's really great news. Just looking at your documentation I can say that you made a huge improvement.

    The fetchJSON method is what I'm looking for. In my next project, I can present a prototype with real data. Awesome.

    Edit: After just digging I realized that there is no "close editor" button anywhere. Once you open it, it stays open. It would be nice add a button. I end up with refreshing the page to close :(

    Edit #2: Here is a dirty hack to fix this

    .actionEditor-headerControls { width: 290px; padding: 0 10px 0 10px; }
