I'm looking for a modern, lightweight alternative to iTunes for Mac. Preferably something with a simple and elegant interface. I don't need any features other than simply playing my music library.

There have been a few great apps in the past (Ecoute/Pinna/Sonora) but they've all been discontinued and are no longer in development.

Searching the Mac App Store is brutal and doesn't provide very relevant results. Searching the web for Mac apps doesn't provide very helpful results either.

Anyone have any suggestions? Are there even any alternatives out there?
