I've got a jailbroken phone with GifPaper so it animates like this.
Man, I was scrolling down and swore I saw a car drive past, then noticed you said GifPaper. For a brief moment I thought I was going insane.

Actually don't have the image anymore :(. I got it from the Sogou Bizhi app (it's in Chinese, but the UI is pretty easy to understand). Tons of great ones on there!

Is there any article about how iOS decides what font color to show on the lock screen? Maybe like this wallpaper has over 50% white-ish colors, so it switches to the dark color scheme. I also noticed that there's some funky color blending/blurring going on under "slide to unlock".
Curious about that as well.

Photos, usually containing the girlfriend. But always a photo of somewhere that makes me happy.
It's funny, I think of my Desktop wallpaper as needing to be something "cool", but my phone wallpaper needs to be more personal.

I use some of the ones I found on Kuvva for iPhone. I use the same app for my desktop wallpaper.
It's nice not to worry about what wallpaper to use and let the app select one for you.

I'm an Android user. I use Roman Nurik's wonderful Muzei. It's a (beautiful) live wallpaper that serves a new piece of art every day. It's super extensible, but I don't currently use any extensions.
