    Definitely thought this was about wtforms (Python form validation library)..

    So, now you can have wtforms stlyed with wtfforms!

    curious why the default inputs are "position: absolute; opacity: 0; z-index: -1;" rather than simply "display: none"

    is this an accessibility thing i'm not aware of?

      That would be my guess. Lots of "crawlers" (bots, readers, etc) skip over things that are display:none.

      Plus if @mdo wrote it, I'm sure it's on the right course.

      With display: none; you wouldn't get the click event (or any events for that matter) required to change the state of the input.
