Really like the home hexagon animation, can I ask what your process was to create this?

Thanks Jason, glad to know that you like it.

The idea was to make a particles system but instead of the usual dots I wanted something more related to my identity, so I used a polygon (hexagon in this case but could be easily changed to any regular polygon) and basically there is a base shape where the particles are attracted to, then there are 2 different effects on each particle: scaling and oscillation. Initially the position of the particles is set randomly outside of the screen so once the animation starts each particle walk to the next point of the current segment and so on. I'd like to improve the interaction by adding something on click and drag but I didn't have time yet.. :) Everything is integrated in angular, so there is a factory with the class for the polygon and one directive for the canvas with all the logic.

Every time I see something like this and think, "this is so awesome… let me check how they built it… canvas… damn it!"

I'd like to try out the power of but it seems like an entirely different world.

Loving the animations on your site, it really makes the page feel alive (especially the intro with the "C" animation). I do feel like the intro is very slow paced and the "view portfolio" button to equate to a "enter site" from the 2000s. It feels like I have to wait and work to view your portfolio.

Your case studies are beautifully laid out, loving that header, and I like that it is minimal. Since most of the portfolios I see tend to have long case studies with process, I was expecting to see more of that. You're technically a "creative developer" so then again I'm not sure what most developers show for process.

Overall, great site. I think everyone is in agreement that your animations work great. Looking forward to seeing your site evolve.

Nice animations. Just wanted to share that the style guide's "pin" icon adds a vertical scrollbar when hovering over it. I'm on Chrome v40.0.2214.93 m

Neat website. I really dig most of the animations and transitions, but as mentioned before by Miguel Solorio, you could really speed them up a bit. Don't make me wait so long ;)

I found the case studies a bit flat. Would love to know just a bit more about each project. Maybe some sketches and the like to show a snippet of the process behind the final product.

It's wonderful, It's really easy to muddy up the particle styles and you handled it very gracefully. Huge fan of the transitions as well :) Well done.

Amazing work Claudio. I really like your case study pages, they're so different and it looks like you've spent a long time crafting the experience of it all.
