Just downloaded. I tried an hotmail adress and it failed twice, then I tried gmail. It did okay. They couldn't handle their own sevice. Interesting.

Interface is very similar to desktop version which is nice but they should add some color, it feels like a wireframe.

Also, I think they used uiwebview (embedded web browser) for authentication and I found it kind of amateurish. Each mail account login is redirected their website.

I installed it and it was nice. The weird thing is tho that mails need way longer via push than in the native iOS mail app.

Seems like Microsoft relays data via their servers, which explains the slower pushing of mails but also might be not the best choice to have your data stored on a microsoft server.

Outlook on safari is so utterly abysmal, I'd be surprised if this was any better.

It's a very nice app, as Accompli was.

Unfortunately it has the same all-or-nothing approach to accounts which makes it mostly frustrating for me. I have my email set up with Google Apps, but all my contacts and calendars are in iCloud.

I can add both accounts but don't want the email part of iCloud nor the contacts/calendars part of Gmail but can't turn off either.

Obviously I am an unusual case but still frustrating.

Wow - have been using Acompli for ages - didn't realise they had been acquired by Microsoft. Had a WTF moment for a second there!

Interested in trying this out, currently using Mailbox but that can be buggy and it's very "all or nothing" in its approach. Looking for alternatives. It doesn't seem to be in the Irish store yet though.
