I love how much these guys share with the community. Thanks a lot for posting this!
I like MailChimp, but I feel like they focus disproportionately on voice/tone/friendliness/cute mascots, sometimes to the detriment of their actual product.
Not that their product is bad, but compared to how good their communication is it can feel a little lackluster.
I disagree. Is there a specific aspect of the product that you feel is lacking?
I think the product is miles ahead of any other newsletter service. The agency where I work used iContact before I got here. It is an abomination of a tool.
I often find myself referring back to MailChimp whenever I have UX questions that need answering.
If you compare MailChimp to products like Intercom or Typeform you'll see the difference right away in the level of design polish.
Interesting.
Perhaps, visually, you are correct. Both Intercom and Typeform are beautiful. As I said, when it comes to usability, I think MailChimp is tough to beat.
