This is awesome! Liked more posts in 30 seconds than my entire life on Dribbble
This is so awesome, I already found more interesting work in 5 minutes than in 15 on dribbble! Are these just random shots?
My guess it's probably using the "suggestions" feature from Dribbble based on your previous likes.
We tried Tindddle from 2 different dribbble accounts and the same shots came up. So I don't think it's using the "suggestions" feature.
At the moment we are using shots that made the popular page from the last 7 days, and the list is always updating with new shots that hit the popular page in real time. We're also thinking of including some shots from people you follow, but that will be later on.
If they are already Popular, then what's the point? Why not grab some other random shots that don't get as much visibility?
We're thinking of doing that too! Although the problem with that is a like doesn't count as a view, so a shot might have 10 views and 30 likes, which is a bit strange...
Ultimately, I don't think they'd mind.
Agreed with this. Popular shots already have the exposure, this would be a great tool for discovering NEW submissions. 10 views with 30 likes won't matter.
My thoughts exactly.
Surely it'd be better cycling through recent?
Using the suggestions feature would be more logical. I never liked the popular shots so this is kinda useless to me and probably many other users.
Congrats on launching! This is a pretty cool app; however, one I don't see myself ever using. I don't want to be "that guy", and not to devalue the idea or amount of work put into this, but I'm going to state a major point of contention for me:
This removes all the things that were to be the intended use of Dribbble, i.e. opening a discussion/critique/feedback on a given design. This just further devolves Dribbble into a "like" based economy.
Whether that's good or bad is certainly a personal opinion and is an ongoing discussion. Personally, I really wish Dribbble was more a platform for constructive feedback than "likes" and pointless comments.
The good thing about dribbble is that you can mould it to what you need.
I use 'likes' to save shots for inspiration which is really valuable to me.
If you need feedback or what to give it then there's the opportunity to do that. You either ask or look for someone requesting it.
From what I see most shots don't ask that question, but when they do they get feedback
I know what you mean, and we've already taken a jab at people's comments on Dribbble with Commments.
It all comes down to personal opinion, I think this is a way nicer to way to browse Dribbble and have a continuous feed of inspiration in a minimal space with no other distractions or existing statistics to skew your view about a piece of work. Although in turn, we skew the statistics of a shot! Thanks for your opinion!
Love that "Drake mode" :)
Congrats! I recognize this as a brilliant and wonderful idea. This is way much more interesting to find new talent and work.
I use Dribble to ****. What is this useful for?
And iOS app for this would be so cool!
Awesome! Since I'm married, this is the closest I will get to Tinder.
Would be awesome if you created this for Instagram too, maybe pulling the images from specific hashtags or the related photos stream.
Initially I thought this was merely a fun joke, but this is actually quite a nice way to sift through the many shots that are on dribbble. Much cleaner & simple experience.
Just got an email from a Dribbbler wondering where all these likes were coming from.
This is great! Just a warning, my account got suspended for having an "unusual amount of activity" lol. So Tindddle cautiously :)
Great idea, and great execution!
Hahah awesome!
Did reading the headline at first remind anyone of this recent layertennis match ?
Nice work! But I found a little unpleasant detail http://i.imgur.com/FgE6VWN.png. Display: 13.3-inch (2560 x 1600)
Pretty cool, would visit again.
'Awesome
'
Wow! It is a brilliant idea. Love it!
Nailed. It.
This is really fun. iOS app I!
I feel like this commoditizes the experience of going out and searching and exploring for good work.
With that said, I've used the shit out of it already.
finally an awesome way to sort through
"Just one more shot..."
Useful!
AWESOME! How does it work?
Definitely spent too much time on this already! Nice work :)
It's awesome! Are you planning on adding some "communication" feature between people who match, like in Tinder? Or some feedback telling me when one of my pieces (not that I have any) is liked?
It's like the first Facebook!
