It says a lot about Bass's work that I don't find many of the logo refreshes on that page to be improvements on the originals.
Yeah I was just about to say, "Rename this article 'Showcase of Logos Ruined'".
Man, to be a fly on the wall at the meetings at which the execs for these companies decided to throw away their Saul Bass logo and replace it with something more "fresh" and "modern". It's painful how those with the power to brand a company often just don't have a clue.

Wow...in almost all of them I prefer Saul Bass' version over the newer one.
