As someone who's only option is Comcast... I've entertained the idea of moving to a city with better offering more than once. That's right... I've literally considered uprooting my life to move across the country because I'm tired of being raped by my ISP.
Comcast in my area is running a "trial" of their 300GB cap as well. Incidentally, their television and phone service also uses the bandwidth on that cap. Somehow, I used 12GB of my bandwidth from midnight to 4:30am on Nov. 1st. I was asleep. Computers/TV/phone were all off... So...
This reminds of a story my colleague Gabriela wrote last month.
