Great to get some feedback on first impressions or what you think of the idea. You know what it's like after staring at something for so long! If you just want to see a quick demo of what it can make, check out my site http://qiip.me/edlea
I think this is a really cool ideas - mostly b/c I've wanted to build this in the past too :) Nicely executed! My approach was more of a portfolio/resume type builder based on Dribbble shots. I like that yours pulls in content from multiple services though and packages it all very nicely.
Thanks Dimitry :) There's a couple of sites doing something similar, but they were mostly 1 pagers. I wanted it to feel more like a website, at least for my own needs. But I wonder about the price of the themes. Kept it closer to Tumblr and ThemeForest but not sure how others feel about it?
I really like it, It looks great.
I had a bunch of suggestions only to play around and discover that they're already there (Reordering services & renaming them). Maybe some visual indicator when you hover each connected service that shows it can be dragged/renamed.
Perhaps a dedicated service for Tumblr (Although it can be added via RSS)
Great work though! Those themes might be a bit pricey though.
Thanks!
I'm also not 100% happy with reorder/rename functionality. I'm working on it, but thought it was good enough to launch with.
Tumblr will be a dedicated service, as will more services like 500px, LinkedIn etc
Theme pricing I'm really stuck on. Tumblr charge $49 and $19. Theme Forest about the same. What sort of price point would you suggest?
