This looks great, but Wander (the startup) are doing a really poor job of branding themselves. Is Wander (the service) even still going ahead? Is Days related to Wander (the service)? Why would a startup release a secondary/tangential product before even launching their primary product?

I just can't work any of it out. Wander (the startup) are selling t-shirts and posters and running an illustration blog. It seems as though they're moving in a thousand different directions, which is fine, but they've never bother actually trying to tie any of it together, or explain their game plan. This mystery all generated buzz at first, but now it's making me wonder whether there's a real lack of direction at the startup.

Chances are the startup is executing against a vision but aren't sure which product/service is the best way forward.

I did think it was a strange move to release this app under a different brand, perhaps if it takes off they would focus fully on this and scrap Wander (I don't know).

All that said, the app looks interesting.

My only real problem is their lack of communication. When you're trying to launch a social network service (or two!), not being clear with your potential users isn't a great sign imho. Especially when you let users sign up to use your service a year ago, still haven't launched a public beta, then launch a totally different product. That's cool, but would it hurt to explain what's going on?!

Check out the app Connor. It's been a very deliberate and careful process to get to where we are. Would be happy to answer any questions. I will say that for our users it has been a smooth and welcome transition, but I understand that there might be some confusion about how the product and company has evolved. Hit me up at keenan [at] onwander.com if you'd like to discuss.
