Lets be realistic and say that their Nickname with still be The Crew and not Crew SC.

I think its interesting that they are going with SC over FC however, SC is definitely distinctly North American. I feel this kinda takes a stand against using FC just because thats what happens in Europe. Ballsy move and I think it stands to represent the elevation of the MLS globally.

This is a really successful rebranding. The new logo looks great.

I'm not sure about changing the club name though! "SC" doesn't sound that great. Most clubs in the MLS have just gone with "FC" as it's the international standard.

What do checkerboard patterns have to do with "unwavering passion"? No shot at the designer, only at he guy trying to over rationalize the decision.
