Everything that comes out from this team seems to be absolute class.
I can't even.
Not sure if anyone from squarespace is keeping an eye on these comments but this is pretty broken in firefox. (32.0.3 on OSX). http://cl.ly/image/1s113D2A1P2h
Seemed weird in Chrome too. Works/looks best in Safari for me. Never used Squarespace before but will probably try it when this comes out!
I'm in love.
/mobileapps is really clever.
Super polished and cohesive. Very impressive.
Here's a deconstruction of how the latest Squarespace Seven landing pages were created.
Squarespace has consistently been putting out amazing work. Love following them and every so often stumbling onto their site and seeing something new. Bravo.
Beautiful. Absolutely classy. Very impressive.
Are they using images for their text? Looks so blurry.
Real world interactions/UI comparisons...pretty cool.
Awesome!
Awesomeness. Love the design!
This is amazing!
I love squarespace and I often direct people who don't have a budget for my services there.
that's amazing
Inspiring design.
This looks incredible. What an effort from the team at Squarespace. Congralations!
Are there freelancers / agencies out there making money from setting up Squarespace sites for customers?
FROM $250/hour! TO SET UP A SQUARESPACE???
I believe you're paying them for other services such as copy writing, asset creation, branding, marketing etc. Squarespace is just the platform they deliver on. At least this is what I gather from the site.
Sure why not? Just think of Squarespace as a competitor Wordpress in that regard. You can do a lot of custom stuff with Squarespace (though I'd imagine most don't). I've worked on entire sites at a previous agency that you'd never know ran on Squarespace.
PS - I get that WP and SQSP are crazy different, but for the sake of being a platform to deploy a website, there are people that use them in a similar fashion to make money.
I am. It's pretty f***ing hilarious how these videos make it seem like their service is super easy to use even by your average Joe.
The truth is that clients have problems setting up the whole package correctly. You still need a basic level of technical "Internetsy" knowledge to make it work.
It's probably not their (SquareSpace) fault. It's actually the clients. But if the clients knew "all about the Internetsy knowledge" then I'll be out of a job. :)
