Mapbox (https://mapbox.com/design) has some great example of maps and I was wondering if anyone of you bumped into some more flat design oriented map to be used on projects and websites. Any suggestion would be welcome. Cheers!
You can style every element of google maps. There are a lot of sites with downloadable themes, like snazzymaps.com. Most sites have flat styles I think.

It gives you full control over the design of your maps so you can make it look exactly how you want it.

Can you define 'flat' in the context of map design, or at the least, what it is not?
Because of the high density of information, there's a lot of science, in terms of how the mind perceives information, behind design choices.
Edward Tufte might be a good resource to consult.
Thanks Matthew, and sorry for the lack of informations. I'm after a map style that takes a flat design approach (lean and essential, with the minim amount possible of informations, bright colours and eye-catching look).
