Why did he mess with the default browser scrolling? It's a mess.

The author Nick didn't came across as a fanboy on either camps, but I wouldn't be surprised if he switches back to Android when Nexus X and Material Design ships -- which will likely address various author's concerns.

With that being said, I do think there are many "Nick"s out there (who are fully aware of the +/- with both platforms) are going from Android to iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.

I think this is a good insight into the design differences and things worth knowing and considering. Real people care about these things.
