    I feel like that would be awful for the players. All the motion and flashing from below would be distracting at best... Though I can see the usefulness in situations where the floor isn't changing or doing insane animations during the game.

      Well this can be extremely handy!

      1) Advertising and promotion during the breaks 2) Awesome for practices. You can easily change court layout from your phone or some other device. Thats awesome especially for the kids. 3) During the game. Well there are possibilities like show where ball left the court etc. Something subtle.

      But agree with that its not really comfortable having this flashin at you :)

    Not sure if one could recovery from all the seizures one would have during the first half alone.

    How about keeping it traditional with good design.

    I was expecting them to do more stuff that actually reacts to the player's movement. That's probably the next step.

    Actually, you could probably invent whole new sports by using that floor. For example, imagine if soccer goals could move around on the field according to different variables…

      Actually it does react - see 0:30. Also it seems like the guys needs to wear something (see their arms) so the floor can recognize them. Or maybe its regular stuff not sure.
