Wait, has Android really not had lock screen notifications until now?

Actually we have but not by default. AC Display and Active Notifactions are both great tools that mesh in perfectly with the Android experience. This is just ugly, and it seems like facebook are trying to leave a heavy footprint on my OS and I don't like that.

I've had this for a while now. It was more obnoxious than helpful considering the lock screen isn't built this way yet (and I use a drawn pattern to unlock).

The frustrating part is that when you click the lock screen notification, although it takes you to the proper post, it does not remove the pulldown bar notification for the same instance.

If this comes enabled by default, I might remove FB from my phone. CBA with that crap in the first place.

There is a reason its the "Lock" screen. I would NEVER allow Facebook to do changes like that.

Seems strange that they've started implementing this when it comes native in Android L. Surely the system's lock screen notifications will take priority?
