Have a nice day, everyone :)

Since it's a first post of mine, I want to give a word of thanks to creators of DN and to all of the contributors. This community has always been a huge inspiration for me and my fellow designers.

And in case you are still reading, here's a link to my lil' portfoio :)

I dont understand your site and I believe that is a major drawback in terms of usability.

Now that the Javascript started working (I think), it's getting better, but still have some rough usability issues in my opinion.

I tried to click every single button in the second section.

Not sure I get it either. I see some javascript errors related to jQuery not loading, you should not hotlink your jQuery from their site, see here for details. Instead use Google's hosted version of jQuery. Your HTML/CSS needs improving too but stick at it and you will get there.

Is there meant to be an image on the profile card? That is not loading. Also the card doesn't seem to be dismissable which is a usability problem. A lot of your projects are missing some sort of title or description - this is especially confusing on your first project which just seems to be an assortment of random UI elements. Hope the feedback helps :)

      Hey, thanks for the answer.

      Let's sort things out:

      • the card is not dismissable because it's the thing about this portfolio. I am telling about myself and here's my business card right in the center of everything with job titles and stuff. By the way, the picture does load (on the last slide), but I guess it's all about the jQuery problems.
      • this portfolio does not show any of my projects in the first place :) It's rather strange you'd say, but it shows what kind of things I can do generally. So yes, there's a flock of random UI elements on top of stripy rectangle that is inscribed with "interface designer" (right there on the card), it just tells you that.
      • and what does anything on this site has to do with usability everyone here loves talking about? I'd love to see the activity diagram with use cases and stuff :) This is just a small portfolio that you flick through and decide whether you need this guy or not, go easy on this :)

        the card is not dismissable

Ok, generally speaking having a non-dismissible is an accessibility concern as it blocks the screen and doesn't allow for any interaction. Looking at your layout you have tons of unused white-space for each 'project' where you could put basic meta info like that.

this portfolio does not show any of my projects in the first place :) It's rather strange you'd say

It would be good to make it clear that this page is just a collection of experiments in the first section then. Otherwise people are going to think this is your main body of work.

The navigation is funky. I like it. Kinda retro.
