Hello DN,
I'm about to choose and buy a collection of vector icons to design an iOS interface. I already know about PixelLove and Streamline icons.
Do you have any favourite pack, both paid and free? Any collection you love? Thank you!
a little biased, but i rather like our icon packs at UI8 =]
they come in a font version as well!
I like to draw my own. Icon packs seem to always be missing stuff I need (not that I blame them, its hard to target every need).
I don't feel very skilled, even though that would be really cool... And thank you for the resources, Glyphish's icons are great!
Completely Agree! I absolutely love using Glyphish.
There is a free icon pack on the Sketch website that is pretty cool.

I feel in love with Iconmonstr some time ago, but now I was looking for something different.

I haven't come across a more versatile icon set than this one. The icons look great at small and larger sizes.
I would happily pay another $30-50 if it meant they would expand the glyphs to be as wide ranging as some of their other sets.
Wow, also Symbolset is great. But I'd like to buy a more comprehensive collection...
Just bought Glyphicons, but my go-to has been Inventicons for quite a while now.
I've been getting a ton of use out of FontAwesome, and I still love it.
But I was lured by Streamline and I'm digging the ability to set my own stroke width, and the wide variety of icons. And they harken back to pure pixel icons in their simplicity.
Personally PixelLove for me, lots of icons, adjustable strokes and I know those pesky pixels are always aligned :)
icomoon.io has some pretty excellent icons. You can also build an icon font based on your selections using their web app.

Helveticon is not the skinny font, but still nice to have around.
These days I draw my own. That or I use Entypo. I used to use a lot of icon packs, but when I started using Sketch I couldn't use any of them with it (before EPS support, etc). I had no choice but to make my own, which was actually great for me because I was never great at making icons.
And did you managed to get satisfying results?
Eventually. Definitely wasn't easy.
