What' s up with the rounded corners on that share icon?
I haven't checked, but it's like that in Yosemite itself right? Yosemite's design seems less harsh than iOS. Rounded makes sense.
I think he's referring to the disproportionate rounding of the inner vs outer corners.
That does look strange, I didn't see that at first
I also didn't see that at first, but damn now that you mention it I can't stop looking at it. That also makes more sense.
Apple is in top form. Can't wait to see what they have in store for us later this year.
I'd like to play the video is slow motion to look everything in detail. I must have replayed five times the redrawing of "Finder" from Myriad to Helvetica.
You mean Lucida Grande ;)
I'll be hiding under the nearest rock.
This is slick!
overcompensating just a tad?
I enjoy how they are bold enough to still make the font on the X so thin even though that is how they are showing Yosemite. I would say it is a bold move to use a thin weight and not cave to a bigger "show more" approach. I also really enjoy seeing how they decided to "draw" all of the items into view (the pop for the ibooks icon, mmm mm yum).
So why is the finder icon different in the video then on their website's screenshots of it.

and
Confusing.
Apparently they hesitated until the last minute and didn't change all the screenshots.
Shame, because the screenshots look much better.
to be fair, it's still beta.
What about the spinning beachball? Is that going to get a refresh as well?
I could watch this all day
