Color me skeptical.
I think the idea is awesome and super cool what they have done
But on a technical note... it has an RGB sensor and is outputting in CMYK(and W? There's a white ink cartridge). The RGB gamut is bigger than the CMYK gamut, so how will they accurately reproduce all the colors they claim to?
The visible color gamut is even bigger than the RGB color gamut, so someone is going to be disappointed when they can't convert a wonderfully purple/blue item they have scanned to RGB or CYMK.
Why did I instantly think of this... !(http://labs.danottenad.com/images/pen.jpg)
I have a feeling my kids will worship this thing if it happens. I wonder how much the ink cartridges cost though (gulp)
The photoshopping is a bit off.
Did....did they seriously photoshop a plant onto the table? I'm not crazy here right? scrubs away at glasses
And the paper where shes drawing, too.
And their pen in her hand. They took a stock photo and made it look like she was using their product, I don't see the big deal.
