Great to see they've placed less emphasis on follower count.
Shame they took prominence away from the team you're in. considering it is a big angle of theirs to push.
Looks good but I'm not sure if it makes sense, I think it should be focus on the shots - not a big header picture :)
I'm glad that they didn't make like this. As they are not following facebook/twitter style :-)
That would be horrific.
edited to completely change your opinion?
i said the same thing before. But misunderstood because of my bad english sarcasm :-)
Looks good, although the "More" link is not consistent with the three dots icon used in the top navigation.
the stats type is a little light and hard to read. other than that I like this version!
My thought exactly. Considering Helvetica Neue's legibility on OS X and Twitter's shift to Gotham, I really wish they used a different web type.
These are certainly clean, but the iconography could use some work, especially on mobile where they are displayed without labels. I've seen all three of those icons used to represent the same thing before.
I don't know, feels kind of half baked to me. I'm not saying do a twitter style - that would feel totally wrong. Just feel it could be a bit better. It is odd that you can't look at a player and see what team they are associated with.
For some sites I can see the point because the content fits. But what is anyone supposed to do with a header image in LinkedIn? What am I supposed to put there? A letterboxed image of me doing work? Networking? Looking like someone from a cheesy stock photo shaking hands with a businessman?
All those things plus a whiteboard in the background with a big random brainstorm diagram featuring the recruiter buzzword skills that are endorsed on your profile.
really well done and, unlike Twitter's new profiles, the "more" dropdown actually makes sense.
i could see this being reasonable as a makeshift portfolio.
I also like that "the numbers" are more deemphasized, and the persons work is put front and center.
me too. +1
I really like these! It makes sense to have a quick bio and contact link be up front and center. I also like that they hid 'following'.
Anyone made more than 21k likes? :D https://dribbble.com/SeegerMattijs/likes
Jeez, and I thought that I had a lot. I'm at 1,700. I guess that I need to stop slacking and pick up my game ;)
Looks slick and much more streamlined.
Why is the More menu so close to the profile picture?
This was the first thing I noticed, feels like a mistake.
Dude, just disabled my Dribbble HD Chrome extension, and it totally fixed the problem. The Dribbble HD makers need to fix that bug.
They did an awesome job, looks great.
