What a stupid. I dont have speakers and microphone in work and I thought I had problem with connection.
Good luck with that.
What a genius idea. I wonder how their SEO is handled.
They've taken the DGAF approach to SEO
Mind. Blown.
This is really, really well done, and a fantastic concept for a site that I'm assuming is essentially just a marketing tool.
That being said, it has some problems. The end experience basically is a brilliant port of shitty voice menus that large companies have ('say menu for more options. Press two to go back' etc). Also, it requires me to remember what options to say. It'd be really useful if there were some prompts on screen to remind me what I could say.
Also, there's no help/confused/wtf control or error handling. Say the wrong thing, command fails, etc and all you get is nothing and a white screen.
I think this site could be helped a bunch by the barest/most minimal of visual interfaces to supplement the amazing voice control. Otherwise, its just a voicemail menu on the web. :/
No idea what the site looks like as it's only supports Chrome. :\
very cool idea but still it fees wrong.
ZOMG. That was amazing!
They have gone so deep into the concept that both loading and navigation are displayed in the URL bar. Amazing.
except if you change from "jingle-5" to "jingle-3" manually (cause you didn't need to hear the whole jingle...
it reloads and starts over on the intro.
Wow, that is clever. I was surprised at how smooth and natural the interaction was.
