As glad as I am to see such forward momentum on getting these bugs worked out, I'm now finding brand new ones. Working with a .sketch file authored in 3.0.1, and selecting text makes it disappear while editing.

My other issue is that I have no way of knowing if this is a one-off bug or something that is affecting other people — I wish Bohemian had some sort of support forum and/or public way of knowing what bugs are known and being worked on. I don't feel that they need to provide this or that I'm entitled to it, but it would be nice as I continue to invest more and more time into becoming proficient with Sketch.

In their defense, no software is bug free, and with every new release comes the probability that new bugs will arise. Photoshop isn't bug free. Not even close. I think your perception of how bad the bugs are are related to how you use the app. If there's a bug with a feature you use all the time, it's going to seem much worse than if you don't use it very often.

The best thing you can do is to report all of your bugs to them, as detailed as you can. They are still a very small team, and the amount of updates they've been able to push out is pretty incredible. I'm confident that as time goes on, it will become more and more stable.

I've been battling a couple infuriating bugs in Sketch myself, but I love the app and I think it's worth sticking with. I'd rather help this small team create something great, than fall back on Photoshop, and not push the boundaries of what tools we use as designers.

For the record: whenever you find an issue, please ping us via Twitter to @sketchapp.

We'll happily let you know if it's a known issue, whether there are any workarounds, and in some cases even give you a ballpark estimate of when it will be fixed (sometimes the issue has been fixed already on an internal build). In some special cases, we've even gone the extra mile and made plugins out of your requests, for things that are useful but might not make it to the end product.

We feel it's nice to have an actual human being answering your questions (specially if you're having issues), and sending you to a forum to make you search for your issues just doesn't feel right.

P.S: the "disappearing text" issue is already on our radar, and under investigation. As a workaround, we've found that in some cases disabling the "Sub-pixel Antialias Fonts" preference gets rid of the issue : )

It's just me or there is someone else facing some bug to show/hide the grid/layout? :/

I’ve run into some issues, especially when attempting to use the hotkey to toggle layout… panning the canvas, and/or selecting an element seem to help get things functioning properly again.

Haven’t ran into it yet with 3.0.2.

Those "crashes related to undo" were killing me. Glad to see this.
