That's why you should...
put on glasses
Drop box
Yeah... go for it, and watch as dropbox corrupts your sketch files.
you win all the internets
Neither does Dropbox. LayerVault does, though :)
We actually ended switching to Dropbox Business from Box at a previous company because of this issue. Does Dropbox not support .sketch files anymore?
Looks like they started supporting preview-less syncing of Sketch files recently, but a quick twitter search reveals that it's still a bit buggy.
I can confirm that they don't support them yet, at least in the API. The files are still viewed as folders so you can't select them :(
You're right. I should've clarified that Dropbox treats Sketch files as folders and will sync them. I believe the issue with Box is they won't recognize the files period.
I've been told, by a friend at Box, that support will be coming next month for .sketch files and other types of files.
Nope it doesn't. Working with a company that uses Box for everything, because security whatever, I basically have to zip the .sketch files every time I'm uploading something. Yay cloud!
Yeah, same here, I have an Automator job that runs at the end of the workday that zips up the files I worked on earlier that day. Very annoying.
I hear the good folks at Skydrive is really good too. I actually use it.
Their FAQ mentions something about needing to be on the latest version of Box Sync (if running Sync 4.0?)
The current version of Box Sync will not download these files to your account.
You must upgrade to the latest version of Box Sync to download these files.

Does Google Drive screw up Sketch files? If it does, I believe Layervault is the only Cloud™ option.
been storing all my Sketch files on Google Drive for some time now, never had any problems!
and yes, Google Drive also treats .sketch files as folders
If only Layervault wasn't drastically more expensive than the other storage options. I know they've added a heck of a lot of value, but 15x increase seems a bit steep no matter how I slice it.
What's the size of your Dropbox/Box/whatever folder right now and what are you paying?
100GB for $1.99/mo from Google Drive
Since I'll never hit those limits with the single-digit design files I've got working at any one time, the space limits don't really matter to me.
How much of that 100GB are you using?
A lotttt of it (I use it for photo storage).
Pixelapse supports Sketch (they're a competitor to Layervault, but I prefer LV).
