Can we be a little bit better about titles please?
I actually like it and think it's a good step for them. Friendly, less corporate, a much better fit especially if they're moving into retail / mobile payments.

The new logo that has appeared on my iPhone. Is terrible. Not like "I don't like the new twitter/Facebook layout" bad, even worse then the new Yahoo! Logo bad. Just. Not pretty :(
Can you break down your reasoning? As in highlight specific features that you don't agree with visually? This is an extremely subjective review of a logo...
Yes, it is my opinion. I feel that the colours are great on their own, however the semi transparent colour in the middle is garish. The balance of the logo especially in an icon format on my home screen is off and feels weighed down in the wrong direction. The shapes are friendly, but also blurry and get lost in each other instead of begin clear and readable as an actual logo mark. I don't really know where they are trying to go with it, it just feels incomplete to me.
I do like the new direction, the new app is great, and I am interested to see where they go. Hopefully they can address their customer service issues and actually improve their product to compete instead of being a dinosaur that just changes the curtains when the new kid on the block is beating them.
