Dear Tech Industry... (iainspad.com)

How does this add anything to the discussion? It's just a meta angry, inarticulate rant rather than a targeted one.
I'm not specifically targeting anyone, that's not how I do things as that would somewhat defeat the point I was trying to make.
Author here. I deleted this post because I guess what I was at the time was very, very angry, and it wasn't what was needed.
I'm still miffed, but in a calmer state of mind and I understand the feedback. Instead, I'll write something else about the situation later this week.
I would downvote this if I could, not with too much spite though. Just the fact you said this:
Rather than of taking it all in and thinking that is how it possibly is, you decide to voice opinions, and even offend or hurt people who aren't completely involved, publicly, instead of doing something to help the issue.
Then I felt the tone in your article could be summarized by this:
Grow up, tech industry. You're pathetic.
I felt this was a bit hypocritical.
Not going to lie to you, I completely agree. I was quite angry at the time and while I think I raised some good points, I don't think I looked at this very clearly.
The post is now gone, but I'll write something else about it instead.
Ha, I like your comment! It's always nice to stumble across humility on the internet. I appreciate your response.
If your new post reaches the front page of DN again I'll look forward to reading it.
