Design+Code Giveaway Winners

You guys really knocked it out of the park with great submissions. We had such a hard time deciding on only 10 winners that we've decided to give away 5 more copies of Meng's book. In addition to listing the winners here we'll contact them via e-mail.

These designs are really functional and well-presented. Some great ideas for navigation that I'd love to see implemented. I honestly hope that the winners will decide to take the project further and give it life by animating, coding and shipping a real product. That would be the ultimate test.

That being said, I'm humbled and impressed. Seeing such enthusiasm makes the sweats and countless hours for Design+Code worthwhile. Thank you DN.

Glad to see Konrad, Gabriel, Laurie, and Martin won. They all really, really deserved it. Congratulations to everybody that won! You all did a top-notch job. It's great to know that we have so many talented designers in our community. Whodathunkit?

Thank you to the peeps at LayerVault who made this possible, and to Meng, obviously!

I am actually more of a developer than a designer, which is why my submission included a GitHub repository. I just wanted to let you know that if anyone needs help converting their design into code, feel free to reach out and I'll make time to help.

Meng's initiative to bridge the gap between design and code is incredible, and it'd be my pleasure to give a hand.

I may contact you then. Looking to finish the complete design for a final project. I want to eventually get it in the App Store.

Would love to see more developers offering help like you do, and vice versa. I'm going to work hard towards that goal.

Awesome! Glad to have won a copy, and it was a lot of fun as well. I'll see what I can do about building it into a real app. :)

Evan Dinsmore just blew it out of the park! And much respect to Hery Ratsimihah who actually went ahead and built an app, not just design it.
