I absolutely love that you can demo the form by donating a $1 to a good cause.
favorite thing on the page for me
Me too!
Killing it as always.
This looks awesome, but does anyone else think it plays wayyy too fast? Maybe I can't read or I just want to look at the details, but it's a little frustrating having to keep replaying to get a better look at "that one spot."
haha I was thinking the same thing. I got totally lost after a bit myself
This is really well done.
Site looks very similar to Ratchet's. And the product design itself needs a lot of work. I used it the other day via Instapaper and it was a poor experience overall:
The site is pretty, but it leaves me highly skeptical.
Be interesting to see how these concerns are addressed as I had similar thoughts. Lovely visual design and demo but ultimately these points are significant to say the least.
There's a delicate balancing act between clean UI and instilling confidence through familiarity. Paypal takes the opposite approach; ugly UI but is recognisable enough that people trust it instantly (rightly or wrongly).
I think we can all agree Stripe is a top-notch service and hopefully 'the future', but they've still got a long way to go getting into the public consciousness and gaining that trust.

Incredible stuff.
Very awesome experience and design. Nice work guys.
Man, that gradient looks rad!
I can't believe that little moving arrow makes me want to click on that button so flippin' much.
Wow, that timing was all so spot on.
Is this what essentially what Drew Wilson's Spacebox was?
Looks great. Curious to see that Stripe.com isn't mobile optimized in the sense of locking the viewport to the size of the screen. I guess it's not worth it for their situation. Refreshing, really :)
Probably because their target audience/customer is the dev community. And the dev community is forever glued to desktop devices.
It's responsive for me?
Oh interesting. The homepage and other pages seem to be, but not stripe.com/checkout
