    I love the design very simple maybe i can suggest make an case studies for every project or maybe don't linked to dribbble instead create your own something like showcase/blog style :D sorry for my bad english :D

      @Anthony @Ericson @Laurie I'm definitely going to put some case studies for each project (with sketches, documentation and wireframes) on my next iteration. Thanks for the feedback guys.

      @Laurie I saw your portfolio few days ago. I really like your case studies and how you presented your projects! They are very well documented.

    Very nice. I'd suggest you show potential employers your design process. That's always the most interesting part of a portfolio -- did you sketch? How did you choose the color palette? What was your inspiration? etc.

    That will give people a way to show how you think.

    Great work Saeng-a-loon. I'd second Derek, there are several places on your site that I'd wished the interaction would be on page. Seeing higher fidelity design samples and maybe even providing a contact form for people interested in reach out to you. The in-browser Gmail compose message leaves something to be desired. All in all, love your aesthetic.

    I like it :) Not bad at all for someone that's looking for an Intern Summer Job.

    One point though:

    You should be really careful with image quality, if you like your work you should present it in the highest quality possible, there's this image on the work section that has a really low jpg quality feel to it:

    Hey - nice and clean. Well spaced typography. Easy to read.

    There is a part of the site that I found disconcerting. It was this:

    If you look at your landing page (http://saengaloon.com/) - you have two image styles:

    • Detailed static images
    • Simplified animated images

    However - when you go to your work section - the static image (http://i.imgur.com/vrsWsd7.png - same link as above) is odd for two reasons:

    • It is simple and it is static
    • The blank screen looks strangely blank - and on the landing page you've filled blank spaces with animations - so I very much felt like I was waiting for something to happen - which it did not.

    I would either make that image more complex to bring it closer in style to the landing page image - or to bring some sort of animation in there to fill the gap. I would probably to the former.

    Otherwise - a very lovely clean site.

    I wouldn't be to quick to take things off Dribble. I'm fed up with designers giving me their own version of how to view their projects in detail - I'm happy to experience things with UX that I know (i.e. the Dribble UX).

      Three things:

      1. Great work
      2. Some subtle animation on the giant illustrations would take it to the next level, visually speaking. Think rustling leaves, a bird that flys by every five seconds, something like that. Your illustration is really strong and somewhat whimsical so play around with it.
      3. If you're using this to get work, or an internship, consider this: When I click through to Dribble from your portfolio it's taking me into a crowded marketplace full of other designers and reducing your impact to a 400x300 rectangle in the middle of this.

      You're right! The work page header seems more empty compared to the landing page. I will definitely have to rework the illustration on that page. I'm also considering adding some animations on both as Ian recommended.

      If a designer can't figure out a way to show something with more detail that clicks right away I would be hesitant to work with them in the first place. Clicking on something to make it bigger and giving more info isn't exactly a new UX paradigm lol.

    Nice and clean, I like the design a lot overall. Only thing I would say is that there are a lot of outbound links to Dribbble. I Would try and make the website its own entity to engage people better. Just an opinion though :)

    Really good job brother! Besides the rest of the comments and critiques that people have given, I'd just say keep going for it!

    If you're hoping to get some work from your site I would suggest putting a statement on there somewhere that outlines just what kind of work you're hoping to find. It potentially filters out work that you're not interested in, and it tells other people just exactly what you want to do - could land you your dream gig!

    Hi Saeng-a-loon, nice work! I also think showing higher-fidelity images on your page would work a bit better, you could still include the link to dribbble though. But I'm not so sure about the contact form as suggested by George, somehow I like the "minimalistic" feel of just a mailto-link.

    P.S: I think there is a small typing error on your Work page in the paragraph underneath "Free Icons!": it says "wep applications" instead of "web applications".

      @Goerge @Benjamin, I personally prefer a mailto link when in comes to mobile because I find email forms in mobile version to be bothersome compared to its mail app, at least for IOS. On the desktop/laptop browser however it's a different story. I'm not a big fan of the mail app on my macbook. I'm considering using both email forms and mailto link depending on the user's device maybe.
