Ask DN : what book, article, method or else, most radically improved your workflow?

over 9 years ago from , UX Designer

Whether you are UX, UI or Service designer, what are the ressources, websites, methods, tools, videos, courses, blogposts, books,... anything that radically improved your workflow on a daily-basis and what you deliver? Can wait to see what gets the community excited here! Cheers,

I honestly can't point to any one specific thing. I am constantly searching for new and better ways to work, so I try not to get too caught up on following someone else's process. I try things and throw away what doesn't work better than what I had.

That being said, Skillshare has been a good place to hear people talk about their process in detail. I've also gained some good tips from Treehouse (teamtreehouse.com). Otherwise I have either heard things here and there or acquired new habits through digging into any source files other designers give out. A lot of process and ideas can come from researching others files. Never assume that you have a process better than even beginners. Everyone does something better than the next person.

Hopefully that was somewhat helpful and what you were looking for.

Hi Kyle, that's a start of what I was looking for. I'll check out Threehouse! I'm basically trying to gather a bunch of useful ressources around UX/UI/Product and service design. Something between a beginner's guide and a great way to see what the rest of the community is sharing/writing/working on. I found a bunch of cool stuff on medium, some company blogs and forums here and there. I'll dig more into Skillshare!
