Why didn't you launch in 2013? (justinjackson.ca)

I did things backwards and engaded with the potential customerbase only after I'd pretty much completed the product. Turned out I'd created a solution to a problem that didn't really exist.
I build something every year or start working on it but never launched.
This year I did.
Love it. DN version? ;)
There are no DN APIs.
I launched- watch it with those accusations!
Clark: sweet! Do you have a link? I'd love to check it out.
If you were planning on launching in 2013, and haven't, it'd be interesting to hear what your biggest struggle / obstacle was. How could you overcome those things in 2014?
I didn't launch because I only started very late.
My one reason for that, is that my day-job consumes too much energy and by the time I get home, there's nothing left. I really use my weekends to switch off and recharge, and need that at the moment.
However, 20 days ago, I started working on my own project 30 minutes to 2 hours every day, longer on the weekends. This has worked pretty well for me, and I've come some ways.
Jerry Seinfeld's technique, pretty much.

I'm not really on the startup/product side of this industry, but I feel these words. I'm very proud to say that we put through a good deal more client-based projects in 2013 than we have in years previously. What's even better, is the quality of the output was higher.
During 2013 I decided to start learning to code and launched my 1st simple project: http://traileroom.com, where I put a movie trailer every day. I'm planning to launch other project in January.
My problem was that I had too many ideas and tried to work on all of them at once. Going to try and prioritize for 2014!
And pretty much what others have already mentioned, feeling too exhausted after my day job to work on anything personal.
I failed. This is the reason why.
Your idea was too big
It’s ok. 2014 is another year and we’re making good progress.
