Depends on the work. For designing/writing, either the Amelie soundtrack or Social Network soundtrack. For coding, it varies between heavy dubstep like Knife Party and Dubba Jonny to chilled indie like Bright Eyes, Sufjan Stevens or Bon Iver.

Regardless of the music that is being played, one of my favorite things to do is simultaneously play the sound of rain. Don't know what it is about rain, but it puts me in the zone.

A couple favorites to listen to with it are ambient albums like Tycho - Dive or Brian Eno - Music for Airports.

Raimundos - Palhas do coqueiro (Live). It's a great Brazilian rock band.

I've never found anything that I can work to as well as Boards of Canada… it seems somehow to occupy or put into a trance state every part of the brain that isn't actively working, without distracting the working part.

I have no idea why, but the best-of album, Abba Gold makes me my most productive. I wish I was kidding.

Lately I've been listening to Imami, Egyptrixx, Falcons, Dubble Dutch, Ital Tek, Sweater Beats, Color Plus (has some free stuff), and Paramore (love me some Hayley Williams).

Pavement, Built to Spill, Sonic Youth, MBV, Dinosaur Jr and other 90s stuff mostly. Best thing is I know that stuff by heart so I get a feeling of how much time I've spent working just by listening to it.
