Just so you know, people who don't use dropbox have to dismiss 2 dialogs including a sign up form before even seeing your document and when they finally get to it most of the images are broken.
Seems Dropbox doesn't really respect your professional work very much if this is how they display it.
Thanks, John. I never know these issues, if you didn't share that. I should present designs somewhere else.
link has been changed to medium.com now you can view the entire story.
They are fraud. Just looted my money once. And they will not even notify or let them contact.
You can contact their twitter support. They are quick over there.
It's a nice exercise in making something pretty, but honestly, without a mobile view this "case study" is incomplete.
Sorry, I disagree with your opinion. It's not an incomplete case study. I guess you did not read the entire case study rationale behind the design. Moreover, there is no constructive feedback behind your "something pretty" comment. Can you elaborate more on it?
I have read it and you can of course disagree. I do think that nowadays you cannot claim to improve "UI/UX" on a web-based product on which you have no control over how it is accessed and not include interactions for smaller screen sizes. That is why I called it "incomplete". But of course you can disagree all you want.
Thanks, Thomas appreciates your feedback. The reason behind not adding mobile screens was that I wanted to share the web app screens first to get initial feedback. What if they did not like it at all or wants to change or iterate the concept. It might take much time to redo changes to mobile screens.
If Gumroad is happy with the design concept I would like to share mobile screen designs with a detailed case study.
But thanks for sharing your feedback. Cheers.
They just need to hire at least one UX designer and stop letting their coders do the UI
Lol yeah, I explained them the case study. I got feedback that it's too like Airbnb. My approach was to show them better UX improvements with decent UI. For inspiration or mood board I used coinbase, bench.co, instapages,
