This is unfortunately very underwhelming and looks basically like a cookie cutter "agency" wordpress template, but I appreciate not overusing current trends. All in all I think it lacks everything but especially meaningful content strategy. I would completely overthink your "about" page. The content there really doesn't make any sense at all.
I learned over the years that when things don't come together and when they end up in a state that is more a wireframe+ than anything else, it usually means that the people who made it don't really know what it is that they are making. Which happens a lot when it comes to agencies, as they usually don't have anything that distinguishes them from other agencies, I think this is the case here too. It ends up being what it already is - something not very creative and hardly distinguishable from any other agency.
Dude, they use an actual chalkboard, how is that not subversive?
yeah, I agree and think this is really more a content problem than anything else - the design, while spare, is perfectly fine. I may be wrong, but I'd feel comfortable guessing that the copy wasn't all written and a vision for the brand story of the agency wasn't solidified before the designs were done. The about page is a great example of this. I want this site to tell me plainly who you are, what you do, and why you're better. The philosophizing thing only works when you're good at it and saying something new, interesting, and relevant.
After over one year of back and forth about structuring and designing our own website – content, photographies, projects, etc... – it's finally out there.
Feedback and comments are more than appreciated.
oooh its clean, no scrolljacking, and a lil bit playful. congrats on the launch!
Devoid of any character. Well done.
So cleeeeaan. Love how you did the contact form. The "Send" button isn't very strong/bold, but it's still eye catching. The error messages are good too. Seems like you put a lot of care and thought into every little bit of this site.
The photo collages are great. I was curious how you handled that responsively. Around tablet you drop from five photos to three, and then on mobile you drop to just one. My initial reaction was "But that means you're serving mobile visitors a different experience with less!" However... it's growing on me.
