Anyone else find it annoying they got rid of the smart/snap guides when moving objects and holding shift to maintain horizontal or vertical coordinates?

Yes. It's totally broken now. Moving mine to from being on a pixel to a decimal

This has been driving me nuts all day. Every time I shift click something to move it horizontally, it snaps down.

Really!? I've just read the Release Notes, and they say, "What’s improved: Lines, arrows, layers and new Symbols all snap to Grids more reliably". And you're saying that holding shift+moving an object no longer maintains its horiz/vert coordinates? Guess I should wait to update... Unless this new, "snap to Grids more reliably" is enough of a mitigation, but it sounds like it isn't? @Alex Hoffman, does 'moving to a decimal' happen for you even when the "Fit layers and points to pixel bounds" is ticked? I want to update, but I want to be sure...

Well the release notes are not lying. The measuring system is better and improved, but with that, they also removed the snapping to guide/grid when holding down shift to maintain the x or Y coordinates. Super frustrating and annoying.

This is a bug we are aware and working on.

I'm curious if you test releases before shipping? I appreciate you're working on it, but surely this issue would have arisen during testing?

How about fixing that annoying bug that is messing the layer group bounds...

Fixed a bug that caused baselines to move when adjusting Text Styles and Text Style overrides

I was really hoping this would fix the bug where superscripts get stripped when you update Text Styles but no, it did not. :(

If you need a stable system, don't update anything day one...

That makes sense for major releases, or for new products but when its passed off more as a bug fix release its silly to be running into these issues. I'm spending almost twice the amount of time in sketch right now just to make sure all of the spacing is accurate. Removing tons of decimals from artboards is not the business

This is nice! → Create new layers from SVG code

super buggy, had to downgrade. holding shift and moving a group is broken. places the object on sub pixels, like other users are mentioning.

while i don't find the manual distribution feature useful at all, i am excited to see where sketch is going with this! cannot wait for more features around automatic distribution and (hopefully) automatic padding

im really looking forward to their main release this summer, the features are looking pretty promising. Hoping to lessen some of my work process thru different apps

The new distribute tool is so sick.

The light red areas, that pop up when moving a layer to indicate already existing margins, now take hidden layers into account? Result: You suddenly see red areas highlighted where there is nothing visible (because there are hidden layers underneath and Sketch recognized a margin between them).

Unfortunately Sketch has priced itself out of the market for me. I love the app and I've designed a large web application in it. But I open it once a month nowadays and I will be staying with my legacy version (51).

The pricing is nuts for someone that doesn't use it every day ($aus sad). And I couldn't care for half the features.
