So... what's the awesome tactic?
Don't get me wrong — this is a great deep dive, but the headline reads like "One Weird Trick From a Mom" clickbait.
Non sequitur: Your avatar is hilarious.
It's called out on slide 35. You're right, though - I probably sensationalized the headline a bit too much. Hope it was valuable anyway.
seriously....an slide deck? If you're writing me a book - write me something to read.
I don't follow. What is the part that's bothering you?
This is really interesting. I'm on day two of the 60 day trial. It's definitely better than the previous version of basecamp. About the "unclear how to add more than three people" as soon as you add in a third name a spot opens for another. I thought it was pretty intuitive.
I noticed that I missed that detail the first time around, too! It might be easier to discover it if it was just one line instead of three.
Three indicates a "batch" whereas a line on its own could be more open-ended, I think.
Hey Sam, great write-up.
I'd be happy to get on a mailing list to read more of these.
Thank you! I will definitely be rolling out more like this - here's the best place to sign up for updates on when they come out: http://www.samuelhulick.com/user-onboarding/
